I’m going to answer a question that I get on the doorsteps often is, and it’s usually from hunters and gentlemen, and they’ll say, “Cody, what do you think about the Second Amendment?”
Then, they say, “Are you going to take away my guns? If I elect you, or are you going to be making rules about my guns?”
The answer to those questions are, “Yes, I believe in the Second Amendment. No, I’m not going to take away their guns.”
In fact, I’m a believer in guns in our family. That’s an important part of our family and keeping guns safe is also important.
I’m up in my son’s room, he’s 18 and he has a gun safe and his gun is locked inside of it. I’m in his room, but I’m not going to show you the rest of the room because he’s 18 and his room is messy, but this part is safe.
In answer to your questions, yes, I believe in the Second Amendment, no, I’m not going to take away your guns. I fully support your right to bear arms. Also, I have been endorsed by the NRA. Be sure when you get your ballot this next week, that you choose Cody Galloway for a representative. Thank you.
tle girl in an elementary school, my grandpa was a police officer.
He was the sheriff of Ada County. I brought a picture to show you. This is him, right here.
I started out as a young girl with a real positive view of the police officers and that they were our friends and that they were our helpers, and also that they drove cool cars that had lights on top and candy in the glove box.
Anyways, I just wanted to do a quick shout out to all of our law enforcement personnel and tell them, “Thank you.” You’re doing a great job. In Idaho, we support you. We want a city that is safe and has law and order. We’ll do whatever we can to make sure that you are fully funded and that you have our support behind you.
Just a big thank you today.
