My name is Codi Galloway, I am running for Idaho State Senate. When talking to voters on the doorstep, the first thing they often notice about my resume is my teaching experience. I taught 2nd and 6th grade at a public school. I love teaching kids to read and it was a tremendous blessing to be Mrs. Galloway to my students. After teaching elementary school—I took a break to stay home and raise my own kids, I have 4 of them. When I returned to teaching, I opened a small business. My own school was called LeapFox Learning and it was for adults. We provided career training to help adults learn new skills, get promoted, and earn raises so they could better provide for their families. At LeapFox, I was not Mrs. Galloway, I was just Codi—and I wasn’t teaching kids phonics, but I got to see how education lifts people up and unlocks opportunities far more than any other program. I’m Codi Galloway. I love learning and I will be the Senator who focuses on education in Idaho. Vote Codi Galloway Nov 5th.
